Hotchkis Sway Problem
I have been back and fourth on the phone with Hotchkis a couple of times about the front bar. The first time they acted like they had never heard of the problem and told me that they would check into it and give me a call back. I heard back from them the next day and they told me I would have to take the bar off and send it into them. I asked them if they could just send me a new bar and I would send the old one back to them. They said they needed to see the old bar so they could decide if they were going to warranty it. I then sent them this picture and I have never heard back from them.

As far as the rear bar goes I can see your concern on the nut not going on the endlink all the way. I have had my bars for over 5000 miles and have had no problems with the rear.

well, the reason I asked if everyone got there problem figured out was because I think I'm the only one that hasn't lowered his car and the front sway bar rubs against the drive shaft boot (that little rubber peice around the shaft on the passenger side) when I hit a bump with wheels turned, or maybe without without hitting a bump but with wheels turned too. I don't know for sure, but I kow the tip of the sway bar is making contact with the rubber boot and chewing it up some. It's odd that the sway bar won't stay centered or recenter itself through normal driving. Pretty sure that would alleviate the problem as there is plenty of clearance when centered.

THeres really only a problem if you lower the tein coils to low... I know the point of the end link puts it lower but I think it actually tightens the car up more...
Its somthing that I dealt with and never had a problem

my car is not lowered and i am having a problem withe the front bar rubbing off the upper k-member mount. directly on the other side from where it rubs off the tie rod(mine has plenty of clearence from the tie rod. the bar keeps moving off center.
so what'll ya all think about this theory? the sway bars slide themselves off center (mine is to the left from in the car) because of the extra weight from the driver. my rear doesn't shift off center that I know of and if it does then it recenters itself before I park it.
Can the sway bar be locked on center somehow or does it have to be able to slide horizontally?
can the sway bars be

I am lowered on hotchkis springs with front and rear sways both on stiffest setting and have not had any rubbing/noises/problems since i've had them (been about 5 months and 5500 miles). Sorry but I have no idea why everyone else seems to have trouble!
if you are riding on teins the hole for the endlink on the front strut is lower then stock making the stock endlink too long,, so i am making custon adjustable endlinks that are going to be no joke, i will be finishing them on friday if my parts are in. it is made of parts they use on sprint cars so the quality is there, i will keep you posted on the out come. if you have any questions i will be more than happy to answer them.
