If I had the money I would be down for the coilovers. It would be nice to have race proven coilovers.
FYI, I will probably never have the money for the coilovers.
The sway is a maybe. I really want one.

Easy to do...would add about $400 of cost to the setup though. But you're right...should be an "option" for people ordering them.

Thanks for the great response thus far guys! We are researching the costs right now for the 25mm 3 way adjustable bar. We think it should come in a little more than current 22mm Progress bar. So an estimated would be $190-235 as a ball park.

My custom color for the bars is going to likely be yellow to match our brand. Handling on a car without a front bar will be significant oversteer. You'd have to run it on the mildest setting.

oh, here is something important for me.

how much lower does the car sit on the coil-overs compared to stock? i'm on trd suspension and i can't stand to lose anymore ground clearance.

Most coilovers you can adjust your ride height. So you can adjust the ground clearance as you wish.

Dan if you recommend them to be used on the mildest setting without the front bar. Is there a front sway bar coming available? Or are you referring to the Hotchkis front sway bar?

Nothing about the term "mildest setting" excites me haha

I was NOT speaking of the coilovers, just the sway bar. A guy said he had NO front swaybar at all; not sure if that was you. If you have a stock front or any other front swaybar, I ABSOLUTELY recommend this rear bar. The stock front and this rear is what we run on the racecar.

As for the coilovers, as stated above you will have a WIDE range of ride height adjustment available to you, so that is not an issue at all. Ride height optimization is quite important to overall handling. An excessively lowered car won't work well at all...especially a strut car.

Dan I knew you weren't talking about the coilovers. I was just trying to answer Drax about ground clearance. And I think that was davedave who said w/o a front bar. I wonder if he's referring to w/o an aftermarket front bar or w/o a front bar at all.

I'm just making sure I can use this bar to its full potential. I'd like to use all three settings safely of course.

Price is reasonable...I'd be in for a front and rear sway combo pack as well .

Gotcha...all good. Yeah, I'm not sure about the NO front bar thing. We don't recommend running without a front bar. We've tried that...results weren't good. We've tried almost every combination you can think of to end where we are at, stock front bar/custom rear bar.

And yes, provided you have a stock or modified front bar on the car, you'll definitely be able to explore this bar's full potential. Just understand that on full-stiff, this is a pretty serious bar, and that setting might be best used on the track or autox coourse.

To the guys asking about a front bar...it's not something at this point that I'm going to put my name on. We simply don't recommend it for best handling performance on the tC.

I suppose that if it were run on a car with otherwise stock suspension that needed more roll stiffness, it might serve a purpose, but then you'd have to bump the size of the rear bar up commensurately. Tell ya what...if there were 100 guys that wanted a new matched set, I'd do the math and work with Dezod and Progress to make 'em.

Haha sounds like a challenge. But either way count me on in this rear sway bar. Thanks for answering all my questions Dan!
