Just now seeing this!

1. How does the rear sway compare to the Hotchkis rear sway?
2. I would have to have endlinks with the sway as mine are bent currently.
3. PM me as I have HKS coils now and would see if we could work something out.

I really want some better spring rates (5kg front/4kg rear currently). I am interested in the coils for sure, and the rear sway if the performance may be better (if you are just looking at it size wise, then the Hotchkis would be stiffer @ 27mm). Thanks again!

1) Hotchkis is hollow and 27mm. The Progress/Dan G bar will be a SOLID 25mm bar with the option of upgraded race endlinks.

2) See notion above or here:

3) PM sent!

I'm for sure on the rear swaybar w. endlinks but still thinking about the coilovers. It is tax return season though. . .

Yah, get these sways and endlinks in production before I change my mind. Haha, I'm in a spending money type of mood.

x2...lately I've just been spoiling her

edit: there are a lot more people interested in these products but just haven't put their name on the list yet...even after we started the list.

If I got some time later tonight or tomorrow, I'll try and backtrack on who's interested in what.

Note: PLEASE understand I simply backtracked the last few pages so we know what kind of realistic numbers we're dealing with. we created a list not too long ago and after the list was created, people were STILL not adding their name to it.

This is merely an "interested" list, which means you are not obligated to buy anything since official details are not even announced yet. If you have decided to change your mind for sure, simply bump w/ a reply with your deleted name

Thanks for doing that! We're working hard to get this in production ASAP, but need to tie up final details.

People should realize that the bar is optimized with the stock front on the track. The average street driver should be MUCH more aware that the car is going to rotate a LOT easier with this bar. This is why the standard aftermarket bars that hotchkis makes come with a stiffer front bar. The average joe on the street that is not ready for it would be bass ackwards easilly running that much rear bar. I autox my tC and am completely happy with a loose setup, but would still keep my mind about me running a 25mm solid bar in the rear on the street. Not trying to kill any sales, as I think this is a great product and Dan obviously has chosen it well. But honestly for the people that do not track/autox their car and have not had much experience outside of "pushing" a few corners hard on the street, you may just want a standard progress rear bar.

And to answer your questions Domo, running more front bar has some downfalls in terms of corner exit traction and even response. You can run more rear bar and keep the balance neutral by running more front bar, thus having a bit more roll control without running super rock hard springs. But, when you are coming out of a hard corner and want to get on the throttle (especially with the stock open diff) you will have a lot more wheel spin going on with a stiffer front bar. No front bar and a good rear bar would be best, but it would be very hard to get a good handle on body roll that way without running so much rear bar that you were always chasing your tail.

Again, not trying to bash this at all ... I honestly maybe interested in this soon (I have a few setups I am trying along with possible plans for a 100% custom suspension setup for my autox needs... so I have a lot of variables to play with ). Just want people to know what they are doing up front since it seems, even with a lot of threads discussing it, that many, if not most, do not really understand how tuning with sways works, so it is easy to make poor decisions, especially on the daily driver.

I did just notice the comment made about this bars adjustability.. so that should be something people read well for their street car. You should definitely start on the mild setting with a stock front bar on the street and play with the settings from there.

Appreciate that, but I am sure Dan would tell anyone the same and I would listen to him for sure . With any suspension mod though, people need to understand what it is going to do along with the fact that a good track or autox setup is not necessarilly a good idea on the street.

hey dan, i know we had the discussion of a good autocross suspension setup, but what might be the difference between the autocross and track setup of these coilovers? stiffer rates?
