Loweing my scion TC -- Temporarily
Trying to figure out a way to lower my TC without buying springs. I plan on buying springs, but for the next 3-4 weeks I'd like it to sit a little lower without having to get the springs..
PS: I probably did spell temporarily wrong. :D dont bother correcting me ... but feel free.

Anyways, just be pateint and wait. Don't do something to your ride and then ruin other parts of it by ghetto-modding it. I waited almost 6 months AFTER I bought my Springs to lower my tC.

Nobody likes the wheel gap on our cars.
Cutting the springs will ruin them. Heating them with a torch and compressing them will ruin them. Adding 800 lbs of ballast will not ruin your springs but whose got 200 lb sandbags hanging around?!
I'd tell you to tough it out. Wheel gap or no, its still a sweet ride.

There's a saying in spanish that says "the cheap way is the expensive way". But seriously. think about it. if you go all cheap and ghetto, you will F UP your ride. If you cut the springs, you will need major repairs in the future. JUST WAIT.....
