Default Measured - 0.98 Lateral G's

The car:

TRD springs
TRD sway bar (race)
Dezod Endlinks
ARK Front Strut Tower Bar
DME Rear Strut Tower Bar
Progress camber bolts for front
Camber - (-1.5) all 'round, plus slightly tweaked settings where adjustable.
Direzza Z1 Starspec Tires ( 200 treadwear, street tires)

+ Intake, Spipe, exhaust.

The Measuring Setup:

iPod Touch taped heavily to the floor of the car.
--- was NOT moved since installation, which can falsify readings.
Dynolicious program
Autocross day

The Result:

0.98 Lateral G's (!)

And absolute proof that I need to brake harder and later.

This run was backed up by several others. I ran a "double entry" today, meaning I got 12 runs in.

I don't know how I ended up. I was the only ST car with a bunch of stock class PAX-ho's. I was 17/46 before the second heat, so I expect to probably finish right around the middle of the pack. It was very wet in the first few runs, so the later guys had an advantage after it dried up. Obviously, this was a later, drier run, but there were still small areas of standing water.

If you're curious, the course was entirely left-handed, with right turns incorporated into slaloms only. I made a NASCAR joke.

Very nice.

A rear sway bar contributes greatly to higher lateral G's right? I'm thinking about getting one.

That probably makes the biggest difference on our cars, but it is the only suspension mod I have so I can't say for sure. I think I am going springs next. For just a rear sway bar, go Progress. Those are the springs I am going with also.

Given the mild suspension upgrades, that's an excellent result for a tC!
