Default Missing Strut nut/end cap!

Help! I was cleaning snow and ice out of my wheel wells, when i noticed on my front driver side TRD strut, the bracket on the bottom of the strut housing that bolts up to the wheel assembly; it was just a naked bolt there....i noticed the threads just sticking through the hole in the red strut.

looked on the strut on the other side, theres a nut/end cap kinda thing on the backside of the strut bracket bolt. yikes. just installed my struts a few weeks ago. could this have worked its way off? or did i forget to re-install??

more importantly, ANYONE HAVE ONE OF THESE NUT/ENDCAPS???
thinking specifically of those of you who got coilovers and replaced the whole strut assembly, maybe?

NJ/PA/DEL.....

Hey, since you got trd struts/shocks it should be under warranty and they might just put a new one on for you under warranty. Dunno if I am correct, but I would try it.

except i installed them myself. and i bet when they see all the snow and ice packed into the underbody of my car, that won't exactly help my cause.

its just a nut that secures a bolt on the lower strut bracket to the hub assembly. it shouldn't be more than 5 bucks. actually, it shouldn't be more than 2 bucks..but its the dealership, so probably around 9.

i wanna get an alignment too after all the ____ i just drove through the last few days. plus, i only got one the day after my spring install, never after they fully settled...nor after my strut install. mechanic said i didn't need one, was running straight as an arrow.
