i forgot what the name of the part was. my uncle says its like a C-clamp. thats connected to your axle and tire. its for coilovers or springs so your tires wont get ripped apart. or grind in your fenders.

yes it is called a c-clamp and you need it for when you replace your brakes, i never need to use it for swaping out sping installs nor coil-overs. let me look for a pic of it.

no its acually a part that you add to your car. i gotta ask him again then...

it adjusts your wheel so you dont mess it up or have it rub up against your fenders when your car is lowered.

 

You need a Camber Kit. It adjusts your camber of your wheel so you wont get excessive wear on tires.

 

^yeah that must be what he is looking for since he said what the part does.

 

your gonna have neg camber if your lowering it so it wont exactly fix your rubbing issues. Most of the rubbing issues deal with the offset of the wheels your running. Camber kits can get expensive too. I would only really look into it if you have a larger drop on the car.
