Odd Spring Question!
The basis of me for doing this is because, I recently purchased a 2nd hand 1991 Toyota Celica GT for my girlfriend. I know what you're thinking already
.
Well anyway, she's bangin' hot, so there...but more to the point, the Celica was lowered with Eibach Sportline springs, used stictly for autox, which brought the whole car down to 2.5" all around. At the beginning, she said "OHH, I LOVE THE LOOK!" Then after two months of driving the car, she hated the ride comfortability. Every bump or even a small pothole makes the car feel like it's all falling apart...
My tC has been set up with TRD struts and Eibach Pro kit springs. I love the set up. I really don't want to spend anymore $ on that Celica...so...I wanted to use my old springs to raise her car up more, and give her my stock 17" wheels as well.
Does anyone know if the springs fit the car? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i doubt they'll fit....besides i think that car is like 300pounds lighter...it gonna be an suv if they do fit....to save money check on a celica forum for someone who has stock springs...shouldnt be to hard since everyone upgrades to lowering spings anyway...you might even be able to get an even trade for the springs she has now...
You should be able to get all 4 of them from car-part.com for under $100 easily.
www.car-part.com
look up your car, then look for the coil spring. They have lots of listings for those cars.
Other than that, check forums as others have mentioned.

Tried that site. There's nothing for that car. Right now I'm still waiting for a reply from the Celica Forums. It's been 5 hours without a reply. So, I'll keep you, mah peoples, posted.
From what I've heard from other tuner mechanics around my area, they informed me that these will fit the stock struts of the 91 Celica.
Question is, is this a fact or b.s.?

But then again, a lot of parts from Toyota Celica, ie: brake pads, rotors, wheel bolt pattern, etc., are all similar.
I checked Eibach's site and the part number for the sportline for the 1990 to 1999 Toyota Celica is similar for the tC. But has a different part number for the Prokit series.
So...very confused myself?
I found them listed on car-part.com, which is why I mentioned it to you. Rear springs listed for a 1990 (which should be the same I believe) for $20. Front for $20 as well. They have some listed for the 1991 (again, I think they are the same spring) with no listed price, but you can call to find out.

Thanks. Just checked out the closest one. It's about 25 miles from home but the guy had the parts last night. He sold them to this other dude this morning who he thought was me. DAMN!
Well, good news is that I decided to jack her car up, take out the front right strut to see if the front coil would fit.
VWOALA
Now...the rest of my weekend is planned on fixing the stupid car cause she's ____ed why in the hell her car is jacked up.
Just gotta find out now if the rears would fit.
OH YEAH...still no pics shall be posted based on her demand. So sorry homies!
