Default prob. with my brakes

hey wassup people. well i got a problem with my brakes. i got those TRD brake pads from sparks toyota/scion online. a couple months they've been fine. but about a month ago, when i brake, it feels like something is grinding. i dunno what the heck it is. can anyone help me out? i dont know much about brake systems. thanks!

Chances are you have grinded the pads down to bare metal.

or you have a rock or pebble in there.. take em off check em make sure your not gooving the rotors

well i couldnt be down to the metal yet, b/c there just a few months old.

but how would a pebble get in them?

Is this every time you are braking or only on occasion? I agree its unlikely your pads are worn down, but its still a good idea to check them out just in case.

Well small rocks can get in there depending on how you installed and when driving in rocky conditions... I had a peeble in my accord smallest little rock... made a screech noise... so annoying.

Its unlikely, but i don't know how he drives everyday. Some people new brake pads only last a few months while some last over 20,000 miles.

Rock may be a cause as well, theres a lot of small things that can cause it. Just check them.

hmm, well i do brake hard a lot of times. lol but my pads arent worn, i just checked. my stock pads lasted about 20,000 miles. these have only had about 4,000 or 5,000 put on them.
i'm gonna go get them checked out. i already some dummy at a brake shop is gonna tell me all these things are wrong.
