Default Question about Instlling TRD springs

Hey fellas got the TRD spings today and right now i have all 4 Struts out of the car and factory srpings off. When i went to Put the new TRD spirngs on i noticed that its hard to get the Strut Center bolt tight. I broke it loose with the Strtut still mounted in the car. I found that If you try to Tighten that nut the same way that mount plate spins and doesnt line up correctley. I Took the Strut back down got everything back lined up but cant get that get a grip on the plate in order to tighten the Nut to Spec. ANy IDeas!!!!

Make sure the spring is compressed enough, have a buddy help you hold it still, and hit it with an impact wrench on reduced setting. Then it wont slide when you torque it to spec.

If I remember, the fronts have a bearing that will allow the housing to spin once you get the nut tight. Try to get the rears as close to aligned as possible, preferably by marking them. The impact wrench will make it easier to bolt it down straight. You still have a little leeway by leveraging the lower strut into the mount once you get the top bolted to the car.
