My tC isn't low (around 1.5 drop), and even still I need to watch for opening the door onto curbs.
Anywho, slamming the car to the ground is more pain to drive than it is fun. Not just speed-bumps and U-turns, but the slightest elevation change in ground levels = a painful experience (i.e. potholes, construction, etc..). My past ride was so low at one point a coke can (lying flat) would get stuck on my front bumper.
