Default Springs - TRD/Tein/Hotchkis - In the long run?

So pretty much the majority on the board has either of these three...

- Tein H/S Tech's
- TRD's
- Hotchkis'

I've searched and read countless and countless of threads
on the pro's and con's of each, but I still really can't decide what to go with.

My question is, which set do you believe is better in the long run?

I'm looking for the spring that would give me a nice aggressive,
but not TOO aggressive, drop, but would spare me in having to buy new
shocks sooner than I would expect. Same goes with tire wear and everything else.
As of right now, I'm leaning toward the Tein S Tech's.

I hope to solve this indecisiveness by next month,
'cause that's when I plan to purchase and have them installed.

Any info/suggestions/comments would help greatly.

Thanks!

EDIT - And keep in mind that I have the OEM Ground Effects kit!

I was leaning towards the S Techs BUT where I live, the roads are not flat as a board. This was a major deciding factor for me.The long run is also an important factor. I eventually went with the TRDs.

1. They are a nice drop, not TOO low in the front (esp with the lip kit) and having the nose too low exposes you to more rock chips and bumper damage.

2. My stock struts were staying in so I figured the TRD's will be a little less harsh.

3. I trust TRD quality.

Overall, I love them. Yes, there are times when I look at my car and I say "damn it, i wish it was lower! " and then go and look for a new set of springs online, but there are times when I think (after driving the streets of NY) "Man, thank GOD my car isnt as low because my suspension (or my jaw for that mattrer) woould be f**kkkked up" . The handling is great, but I wouldn't just get the springs. I still think I needs some sway bars and a strut tower bar to make the car more rigid, but the springs are a great improvement.

I would say to think about where you are driving the car the most. S techs are great if you live in an area that is all paved and smooth and also planned on changing out those struts in the short run. In other cases, I say TRD for the long run.

in the Looooooooong run, TRD's will be good! Just cause they dont cause much stress on the stock shocks, since its not a big drop like Hotchkis or TEIN.

BUT, if you want it lower go with either Hotchkis or TEIN. S-techs will give you the agressive look since they lower the front more for that look. With Hotchkis it lowers the car level, which i think are the best springs out there!

I have Hotchkis and i love them! Such a great ride with a beautiful stance! I scraped only 1 or 2 times cause i wanst paying attention to where i was going. I plan on getting the OEM lip kit soon so it will be about .75" to 1" lower? I know it will look awsome!!! Go for Hotchkis!!!

p.s.- i have stock shocks for close to a yr now and no problems! I know some other ppl have gone for a longer period of time with stock shocks too! I do have SOME camber in the rear, but i love the way it looks, hardly noticeable but you can see it if your looking for it!

any drop over 2", you will eventually need to get new shocks...Tein H techs are good and have a great ride quality also, i hear that the Hotchkis are also nice, but the TRD is not low enough to have an aggressive look IMO and the S Techs are over 2" drop and again, you will eventually need new shocks

Thank you for the input guys, I really appreciate it.
I think I've narrowed it down to the H Tech's and S Tech's.

I have some quick questions...

Is the S Tech drop significantly visually different than what
the drop the H Tech's produce?

Does the small number of - really show between the two?

I have the OEM lip kit and some people tell me that the
S Tech's would give me a hassle cause of of it and there are
some that say there is nothing to worry about.

How long do shocks usually last on a car anyways?
