So I'm looking to either drop my '08 tC with TRD springs (just so that I don't void the manufacture warranty) or just add a front lip to make it look lower.

For those of you who have installed the TRD springs, how low did your's drop? About an inch and a half, right? I don't want my car too low anyways, so I'm aiming to only drop it an inch and a half.

However, I was also just thinking about waiting on the springs and using that money for a front lip instead, just so that it could look better and look like it's lowered.

So the question is, if you had the option of adding springs or a front lip, which would you do?
Also, do you have any recommendations/websites that I can look into for certain front lips for the tC?

Lastly, if I do plan on going with both springs and a lip, which should I install first?

I just needed some info from those who have already gone through this process. Any insight and feedback is much appreciated..

 

springs then lip, and neither will void the warranty.

 

a lip won't make it look lowered. you'll still have the monstrous wheel gap. springs first.

Yes, springs first! You will be fine w/ both the TRD springs and a lip. The TRD's don't drop the tC much at all, mine a little over an inch.

save your money, and buy coilovers! but if you don't want those, get the springs first.
