Im installing lowering springs on my car right now and i got the fronts in. one of my struts is already blown but I have to use it till I get paid again but anyway.

My struts are making a weird noise when I turn and I think its the top nut not being tight enough but it sounds like a rubbery knocking noise similar to taking the spring loaded bolts off the exhaust but deeper sounding.
Any suggestions to fully tightening this bolt or anything else to check?

 

My car sounded like that too, but I think it was because I hit a deer. I ended up replacing my strut tower.

 

it was the sway bar endlinks im sure
