Default Tech Help!! Please Read

I am curious to kno if there is a way I could change the amber led blinker in my mirror to another color.. Does anyone know if this can be done? I know how to get into the mirror housing, however not sure what to do to remove the actual led and change it...
Thanx in advance

Yes I'm talking about the side view mirrors.. The car colored portion of the mirror pops off and allows you to access the inside of the mirror..

there are LED's hardwired to the circuit board inside the side mirror turn signals and the manual says if they ever need replacement they will have to be replaced with a new unit that uses bulbs instead of LED's.

but don't let that get you down, I've seen a few people with pictures of their turn signals in hyperwhite... but you have to know what you're doing, and if you can't even get TO the LED's, it's best to not even attempt it.

and I don't even want to know what some sort of a professional would want for undertaking a job like that, or worse, what would/could they do if something went wrong? Keep in mind, people that have had to replace their side mirrors that have been ruined have had to pay over $250 for the replacement, not including installation.
