tein coilovers shorter springs
so i would like to know if anyone has tried this i have found a coil made my tein that is 25mm shorter than the original one
do you think it would be a good idea i can get them cheap actualy only 60 bucks for two they would be the same spring rate exactly the same just 25mm shorter witch is just shy of one inch. i could also get a softer spring rate to
let me know what you think
thanks

^im guessing you want to go lower right?
if lower is all you want, then go ahead, but by reducing the size of the springs your reducing the shock travel distance, i know teins dont have separate height/damper height adjustments, so with the shorter springs you would want a higher spring rate to prevent from bottoming out the damper
hope that helps!

Well I ordered the shorter springs. I got them 25 mm shorter and the same spring rate as original since i have no problem with bottoming out right now. I probably will not go down the whole 25 mm anyway. Also got them for 30 bucks so you can't go wrong anyway if they don't work out I'll just put the old ones back on
thanks for the reply I'll let you know how it turns out
