Default tein ss-p spring perch location

hey i just got tein ss-p's and installed them, but for some odd reason, the driver side front coilover's spring perch is raised to the top and the passenger side is only raised to the middle. when i put the wheels back on and lower the jacks, they sit at the same height. is this normal because when i go over bumps, the driver side front feels like it is compressing and then rebounding and hitting a stop then bouncing back down. could it be that the spring is defective of the damper is defective?
thanks

doesn't sound right at all. are the left and right springs identical? maybe someone changed the springs or spring rate?

actually i figured it out. the driver front and passenger rear were set incorrectly and raised too high, after the springs settled, i had to lower the spring perches and now it seems okay
