Default Tighten spring on H & R's?

so i have been hearing this clicking noise, and today when i went to get tires put on i asked the people to check the front left side to see what it could be, any blown boot, cv, etc.. and the guy said that he could grab the spring and turn it, bc it was really loose??? and on the front passenger side, it wasnt as loose but still could be turned... how do i tighten that??

Sounds like you need to tighten the top bolt of the strut? That's what I would try, I may be wrong though.

nah the center one that holds the top mount to the strut assembly.. not the 3 on the top mount that hold it to the car.
