Tire Wear Problem
Dont know if it is the right section but i figured that the problem is suspension related so i put it here....
well i have coilovers and was waiting for christmas money to get up on the alignment rack but it didnt make it...
my passenger tire was worn bald on the out side and to the markers on the inside.
driver side is worn to the markers outside and a little shy of the markers on inside
the rears have PLENTY of tread left...
I have - camber and - caster....
i think it is a toe problem and that the passenger tires has serious toe in, and the driver side has some toe in...thes tires wore down from new to bald in about 4 1/2 weeks....definitely not right
also incase it matters i have NITTO NEO-GENS stock specs

if your alignment is off enough and you drive a lot 4 1/2 weeks is plenty of time. Your driving habits and road conditions can only accelerate it further.
Also did you check your tire pressure? you may be underinflated

well when you lower the car or change the suspension it changes the geometry of the car and your front may have just been more affected than the rear.
When I lowered my car I did my alignment twice. Once right after installing everything and a 2nd time a week or 2 after once everything settled. Of course I was in a brakes and suspension course in college so I did the alignments and installed myself

how do you adjust the toe on the tC if my friend can i can get on the rack but i would need to do the adjustments or i have to pay for the techs time...
Well you have to remember everything needs time to settle so when it settled it may have affected the camber.
And to adjust the toe you just loosen up the jam nut on the tie rod and turn it in either direction to toe-in/out..i forgot which direction you need to turn for which but it shouldn't be hard to figure out lol

alright so i need to take out the bolt that connects the tie-rod to the spindle/hub (i believe it is ball-joint) and the coilovers have the bodies notched for camber and they have pillowball mounts so camber will be easy...

no you don't take any bolts off. You just loosen it so that you can turn the tie rod. The jam nut is located on the tie rod itself. You loosen that and you'll be able to move the longer nut that's located on the tie rod in order to adjust the toe angle.
I hope that makes sense lol I don't have any pics to show you but once you get under the car you should be able to see what I'm talking about

yeah 7mm is pretty off..thats way off.
As far as what you should adjust to I really don't know. I was spoiled with a machine that told me whether i was in spec or not as I was adjusting it lol sorry I can't really help you much more with that
