Default What do I need to buy to lower my car?

Hi guys....I know some of you think I'm stupid and lazy to look on the net, but I just want some of your inputs. What do I need to buy to get my car lowered? Do I need to buy a new set of shocks, (I kno I need springs) a camber, a strut? And also what best spring, shock, sturt are out there. I'm a car newbie at this because I've never dropped or mod a car before so I would appreciate all your inputs.

All you really need is some springs for your ride and thats it. That will lower your car and there is really nothing extra you need. But now you move onto springs, TRDs Teins or Goldlines. And those are just a few choices, thats where the search will help you a lot. :D Hope this helps.

thxs for the input man...that other guy was mean...but if I get the tein s-tech springs or the h-tech springs...wouldn't they wear out my stock shocks pretty fast since the car is lowered?

I was told with more than a 2" drop- like the S-Techs I have, they will last a good 8 months or so....no really big rush for new shocks

thnxs for the input there ivnurs but how long have you had the springs? because I don't want to be changing shocks every 8 months or so and I'm sort of on a budget...I'm probably just gonna drop my car and get an exhaust system and that's probably that's all I will do. I don't want to sacrifice my ride quality so would I need a better shocks then?
