Default 07 Flint Mica Wheel Advice

I have an 07 FM with the stock 17" wheels, I dont like any aftermarket wheels out there, and would like to keep it Scion. I am thinking about the Scion EMX Super 7 18 inch. Alloy Wheels. Even though the stock 17's are nice I would just think my car would look better with these on..So if anyone out there has them on their TC, has made this change, or can give me an opinion on doing this I will greatly appreciate it.

hey tcjp, i have the enkeis on an FM. it's a pretty classy set of wheels imo. not too bling bling like a lot of a/m's out there, but that was good for me. i think they look exponentially better with a big drop.

stock:

if you decide to upgrade your suspension a bit, here are tein h-techs:

have fun with your new tc.

they look real nice, are they 18's, they look a lot like the Scion EMX Super 7 18 inch. Alloy Wheels were they cheaper

you're talking about the same rim. scion just popps their center cap into an enkei rim and jacks the price up about $400.

IMO, consider an aftermarket wheel...it will stand out a lot more. here's my FM:

like flint said mine are the 18'' factory upgrades, same exact ones you quoted above. same price as the package on the scion website through pure pricing. i got them put on at port when my car was delivered. didn't consider them to be that expensive considering the tires they came with (Pirelli Pzero Nero):

that being said if you do decide to go a/m, a lot of the machined lip + black spoke designs look great on FMs. i'm a big fan of the stealth look because i sometimes drive uh... very quickly and don't want to stick out to cops.

I was originally sold on 18' TRD rims they had at my dealership bundle with tires, but not for the $2400 they asked for it. Check out edgeracing.com or tirerack.com. They have rims and bundles for all tastes, and even some nice ones for half the cost at the dealership.

A little off topic but a side note none the less: Make sure that they transfer the tire pressure sensors to the new wheels.... so many people have been screwed over by that... if it happens at a dealer, they will usually pay, but at a tire/wheel place, good luck.
