Default 18x8.5 w/ 35 offset....will they rub?

Alright....i know its been asked before (i at least looked before posting). i will be running 225/40's and i am currently on s-techs. Now, im also going to get the tein basics installed and i plan on setting it to the s-tech ride height or at least close to it. That being said...will they rub? ive read equally yes and no. enlighten me please. thnx

im thinking you are goin to be rubbing with that wide a rim and low an offset. but then why get basics if you are already on stechs, and planning on setting them to the same height? i mean... you cant adjust damping anyway... so whats the point?

but yea im on 17x7.5 with 35 offset on tein ss and its all the way down, barely lower then stechs. ive had stechs previously. it rubs only on hard dips or bumps.
