225/45/17 on stock wheels. pressure question.
#5
i run 40 to 50 psi in my 225/45/17 because the tire is wider, and if you ran the 32 on that then the side wall wouldnt be as stiff. i auto x and i take turns fast, so that may work better for me, but i dont kno how you drive so i guess wat ever floats your boat.

when i took my wheels into the shop for a rotation, the stupid guys stuck the pressure up to 40psi all around. my car felt really unstable after that occured, i depressured them back to the stock specs, 32f and 29r. the car handled a lot better afterwards. if you have tires that are the same dimensions as the stock tires then you should use the stock tire pressure specs recommended from the factory.
