Default Bought new tires for the tC Kumho Solus KH16

So I bought some new Kumho Solus KH16 tires off of ebay and and getting them installed tomorrow. Kumho lists a 60,000 mile tread wear warranty, I am thinking that if we see 45,000 out of the tires that will be great. The car is going to Toyota tomorrow evening to get the tires on, and finally align the car since it was lowered back in the spring.

Has anyone else had these tires on their car, and if so how have they been?

tell me how you like them. i am thinking of getting these because they are inexpensive and seem to get good reviews! also, post a pic of them on your car when you get a chance...im having indifferent thoughts on how they might look on the car.

Alright I will see what I can do. I am hoping that they work well on the tC. We put these tires on my mothers chevy equinox and they seemed alright on that for the year and a half that they were on it.

i guess its just the angle of the tires that's making the tread look thin. How's the performance, they look more like an econ model.

They're deff not a performance tire, I wanted a highway tire since my fiance drives it 50+ miles a day, The bridgestones had a treadware rating of 260, these have a rating of 440 and a tread warranty of 60,000 miles.

that 2nd pic makes them look really bald for some reason. interesting set of tires, my sister needs a set for her tC really really soon. im considering getting these since she lives in Houston and drives about 50miles to and from work everyday.

I would deff say go for these, I got them for $291 shipped off of ebay, so well worth it for a highway tire.

That is the company I got the tires through, I don't see them offering anymore at this time.

Still there, I guess they just didn't show up in your search;

i got these tires put on my girls is300, same tire size

i paid 300 flat from a local tire shop installed and balanced, if you guys really want these tires, you should check with local tire shops, not tire kingdom or pepboys, but local independent tire shops that can get you any tire brand and model, im sure you will find the same tires for a better price!

on another note, she does a lot of highway driving, and they are perfect for just that, but coming from falken ze912's i can tell you these are definitely not for spirited driving, lol, very easy to lose grip coming around a turn, but then again the is300 is a lot heavier then the tc, so they might behave differently

overall great tire for the price!
