Default Creaking sound when i brake...

Everytime i apply my brakes on my car as i slow down i hear this rocking sound. As if though something is bending or creaking under pressure...any thoughts on this one? its a rockign sound like if u were to swing on an old playground swing and it just gets fainter and fainter till i cant hear it anymore...i figure if i can hear it....then other people can too....its bad enough having noises in the inside of my car...whats this one about ? i think its coming from the bak area....nothing from inside my car....i have a feeling i posted in the wrong area...sorry in advance.

Its possible your pads are getting worn down to the point you are hearing your pad wear sensors. It is a metal tab that is connected to the backing plate that will squeal when the brake pads start to get low. Another way to know if your brake pads are getting low is if the "brake" light on the dashboard starts to come on under hard cornering or braking. You may also want to check to make sure that the thn metal dust sheilds behind the rotors are not coming into contact with the rotors.

Sometimes that happens after a rain or dew over night. It is the rust on your rotors. once you brake a few times it will scrape the rust away. Worst case scenario is your rotors are warped (usually an over-time thing)
