I purchased some Triangle Talon TR968 in July 2007 and I have put 26,000 miles on them.

I have read that they are junkie tires, but for $275 new & mounted out the door, couldn't really pass it up.

I had a friend of mine ride in my car and he side to me "How can you stand all that road noise?" while going down the highway. Since that time, I have noticed that they are louder then before. (usually i have my music loud and don't notice anyways)

I have NOT had them balanced or rotated since I purchased them, and I didn't see any signs of defects.

What should I do?

you should have rotated them 5 times by now.

solution, buy new decent name brand tires after reading reviews about the tires to learn about their ratings for road noise.

Yeah, you definitely need to rotate your tires frequently.

If you did that, you could have turned that $275 deal for 26,000 miles into potentially 36,000 miles.

Try rotating your tires and listen for the sound again.

turn music up louder, I also run cheap tires....they get me around safely...who cares about noise.
