So I bought some 18's last friday. They should be here this Friday. But I sold my stock rims and tires to help raise funds to buy the new wheels. Im rolling on some steelies my buddy had laying around right now. I did not take the sensors out of my stocks, when I put my new 18's on am I gonna keep getting the flat tire warning light?

 

Depends on what year your tC is... my 05 doesn't actually have sensors in the wheels. It's just measured by rolling diameter compared to the other wheels.. something like that anyways.

^^Yep. If you have an '06 or later you're gonna be seeing a lot of that light.

Yeah you'll be fine. As Ack stated, the '05s simply measure the rotation speed of the wheels (using the ABS system I believe). If one wheel is moving at a different speed reletive to the others, that light comes on.
