They have pretty good grip, not so much in the snow...but how many tires do? My only complaint is, the previous owner who gave me these tires with the rims feathered one side of the tire. So I constantly hear this wind thumping sound, also hankook uses a harder compound then most, so you will hear road noise. Best of luck to you!

I'm looking at the same tires and wondering the same thing!

My choices are the kumho toyo or hankooks. I had the others and I know that they are really good tires but the hankooks are 10-15 cheaper per tire so I dont know what to do.

OH go here there are alot cheaper here

These tires have a nice sidewall that make your rims look sweet. The compound is hard like i said, so there is a bit of road noise and it doesn't absorb bumps and potholes that well. But the grip is definitely better than stock potenzas, I don't think you'll regret getting these tires, but if you have the money go for Falken ZE-512.

ANYTHING is better than the stock . It is a wonder Toyota has not been sued for putting such sh*t on a car . Lol .

The OEM tires aren't exactly that bad. . . they have low road noise and have a decent ride. But for performance purposes, they suck.

If you got Potenzas and think they are in any way a decent tire , try something else . You will be amazed . Dry traction , they are awful . wet traction , even worse . Safety first . true that traction is part of performance and road noise is not but , they are not very safe in any driving condition when compared to any other tire on the market . Oh , they ARE that bad . Maybe you got Turanza tires . They suck too but , not quite as bad .

I have the Yoko's. . . and the wet traction blows. Dry traction is decent. But it's not the greatest tire in the world either.

I mean c'mon. . . it's a $16,000 car.

But Toyota is not known for choosing the best tires for the OEM setups. Every Toyota I've ever owned had crappy OEM tires.
