Ichiba bolt on wheel spacer problem
im having a problem with my 15mm bolt on spacers, after bolting up the spacers on the factory studs i put on my wheel on the extended studs on the spacer and my wheel doesnt sit flush against the spacer. i found out its because the factory studs stick out too far and hit the back of my wheel causing a gap between the spacer and the back of the wheel. anyone else have that problem? im thinking i have to chop down the oem studs to get the wheel to sit flush.
any advice?
Yup I had the same problem too. Do your wheels have the slots on the back of them? Mine do and still the oem studs did not align into the slots they were off by a bit. But I made it work. I put the wheels on the spacer and tighten them up as much as i could, than I removed them with force and the oem studs marked my wheel where it hit. So what i did I got my dremmel and shaved that part down and after a few times of on and off and trimming it, it sat flush with the spacer. Or you can cut the oem studs thats what blktc did. Or you can get 25mm spacers and that will cover the oem studs completely.

yea i got 25mm in the rear and the wheel sits flush, its the dang fronts im havin issues with. i got the other holes on my wheels too but still not lining up
i guess im either gonna chop the studs or get the ichiba v1 spacers, just hope they're not a pain to install. which would u recommend. o yea i dont have a dremel lol. hack saw maybe?
Its not that hard to remove the oem studs and replace them up front. I did my fronts before. It is hard to do the rears. This is used this diy when I installed them...

i jus ordered the ichiba v1 10mm spacers, i figure a +25 will be close enough to being flush on my 19x8s. +23 i believe is flush. haha i just had my rear fenders rolled yesterday and the guy who rolled it recommened i cut the lip thats in the way. Im gonna just take a utility knife to it and trim off whatever is in the way, then primer and touch up paint to prevent rust. as for the bolt i just took it out lol
Yeah when I first got spacers I was able to replace the front studs, but could not do the rears. And to be honest 10mm will not really make much of a difference with your specs.
