need some suggestions for non expensive lightweight rims
hey guys im looking to get some rims with in the next few months and i like to drag race a lot so im looking to upgrade from the stock rims and tires to something lighter and hopefully better looking at the same time
im looking for something that's not expensive but decent quality.
something like the momo corse rpm's or S-Five's both run around $550-600 for a set shipped so in that price range. im probably gonna stick with 17's since i want as light as possible while still being able to look nice
also since i drag race would i want a wider rim then 7" or does it not really matter to much? couldn't i just stick with the 7" rims and got a wider tires like a 225 instead of the stock 215?
any suggestions on rims other then the ones i mentioned would be great
thanks guys

i would get the Konig Feathers, they look nice and are cheap (less then 150 a wheel) and lite, i think 16lbs for 17x7.5
i had them last year and they looked nice, but i wanted more.
they also come in silver and flat black

We have the Falken Hanabi's:
They come in 17x7.5 ET 42 (anodized silver or bronze) and weigh 16.9 lbs. We are also running a special on the 18x8.5 ET 38 for $89 each (silver only) and they weigh 20 lbs.

i would look into enkei rpf-1's, 5zigen fn01r-c's or o.z. ultraleggeras
those are quality cast wheels for a decent price.
i'd get at least a 7.5" wide wheel to run a 225 tire. from what leo at edge racing says, the 225 tire won't sit right on a 7".

ive seen 225 on the stock 17's and i thought it actually looked really good it wasn't overhanging or anything but rather straight up and down... if that makes any sense
