Ok need a little advise guys, so I sold my drag dr31's, and I'm now I'm getting a set of 17x9.75 sure you guys can figure out which brand wheel , but I'm having a hard time now deciding on which tire brand and size I should go with? Should I just go with a 205-40-17 all around, or 215-40-17 all around, or do like some others have done and run 205-40-17 front, and 215-40-17 rear? Also thinking about running either Falken 512's, Federals, or possibly Kumho's , which would give me the best stretch and appearance? Or what other brand tire's not mentioned would you suggest? I'm on B&G's and will be fairly low, so help me out experts....

Im also in some need of advice. Im currently running on 17x8.5 with offeset of 20. I was running on 215/50 before and was rubbing like a mother******! I recently purchased some Falken Zeix 502... 205/40 great tire! w/ decent stretch But I guess I kinda messed up on the fitment. I am currently sitting on S-Tech springs and I have a noticeable gap now and tire looks pretty thin like low pro thin :*( I now have almost a 2finger gap in the rear and 1 finger in the front. I have had people tell me to slam my car but how much lower can I go!? I am in the process of getting new tires with some more research. I was thinking maybe back to stock 215/45 or 205/45. I had people tell me 215/35 but wouldnt that be a thinner sidewall? Any advice would help. Thanks in advance.

How much moar low? lol I also want to run spacers in the rear or maybe all 4 If I can. My only way to get any would be to get some coil overs?

Should have got the coilovers first. Try a 215/40 in the meantime.

Thanks Jon! I was thinking the same since I was running on 215/50 before. Only reason why I choose 205/40 was for the stretch and to save some room for slamming the car later when I do slap on coil overs. But I cant just stand the wheel gap ;(

Default Volk CE28N +38 Fitment

I got some Volk CE28N +38, I'm already running 225/45/17 on oem wheels and need to bump up the width of the tire because I'm already spinning through 3rd gear on 225's. I'm thinking about trying to run some 245/40/18's on the Volks. I know I will have to roll the fenders but what about pulling them/cutting them? P.S. I'm on oem suspension right now but I'm going to get some coilovers and install it all at once.

^Wait what? You can get more negative camber with the stock hardware, it takes turning the adjustment bolt, jeremydoc even made a video. If that isn't enough then yea you can get adjustable camber arms, I don't know which one would be best though, Hotchkis seems good.

i believe the hotchkis rear arms can get you up to -8 degrees of camber, but the stock ones should be able to get you to around -4 degrees which should be enough to run 17x10's?

cleanfmtc youll be fine with the stock arm with 17x10 me and the homie jeremy are on stock camber arms and maxed them out. just depends on your offset if you really need more camber and tire size also makes the difference. also to add your gonna need camber bolts for your fronts unless you have coilovers that have camber plates then you should be fine.

ok so the specs for the wheels are

19x8 front with 26 offset

19x10 rear with 22 offset

5x114 lug pattern ( i know scion is 5x100)
so basically i plan to have the rims redrilled to 5x100 pattern
i dont really like usings spacers. so i guess ima try to make this work without the use of spacers.

and also ill be getting hotchkins rear camber if that would help with the fitment!

any help would be appreciated it! thanks
