I'm personally a function over form type of person, so I'm not in to stretching tires. But you should be fine with that, I wouldn't expect much rubbing.

Assuming your putting the 17s in front and the 18s in the back? That'll be very odd. How did you NOT notice that?

18x8 with a 40--45 offset with 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 will be a nice way to will the wheel well and not have any issues.

Default What about some 19's

I really want to go with 19's but will settle for 18's.....What is needed in order to make 19's work where there is no rubbing. I have the hotchkis 2" drop all around. Will I need to roll fenders or cut wheel well. What sizes can I go with without any major surgery to my car.

Once again thanx for your help.

It all depends on the offset of the wheels and wall of the tires.....I'm no wheel guru by any stretch of the imagination but I can tell you that you'll need some extensive modification to make any 19"s fit on a 2" drop.

didnt i answer that question already.... you might have caliper clearance issues, and either way it'll look like crap you'll need a 25-30mm spacer to make it look decent

You Did Dave but I figure I post it in the right section just incase anyone else has the crazy IDEA of getting 50mm offset wheels like me

do you recomend any brand for the 20 to 30mm spacers?
