oem wheel locks work on other cars?

i want to get the OEM wheel locks for my car but i don't know if i'm going to get aftermarket wheels or not? does anybody know if the oem wheel locks will work on other rims?

The oem wheel locks would work if the size of the lugs are the same.
Some aftermarket rims require aftermarket lugs.

i doubt it. the oem lugs and locks are conical seat like aftermarket lugs, but they have a huge washer that might not allow it to fit in another wheel's lug hole.
