Default offset and tire size to close wheel gap

Does anyone know what size tire/ offset combination will close up the gap in the rear well? I am more concerned about the offset, i can experiment with the tires later. I have a hotchkis drop (1.97" in rear) and am going with 18x8 wheels.

Also- what would be the best offset in the front (1.7" drop)? they can be different offsets because I am going with a staggered set-up.

An 8" wheel with a +35 offset will definitely give a more flush look. I have that on my car and the wheels are pushed out quite a bit further than stock:

i have 17x8 +32. it is very flush. i get comments all the time.

the rear is not flush because i have a little negative camber but when i get an alignment, it'll be a little more flush

i think ideally 8" with +30 offset is the best offset you can get with the tc
