lol I had the idea wayyy before the RS5 came out.
Because I slid off I4 when it was raining and I hit a ditch and my lip ripped off so the edge broke off where it would have been screwed into the inside of the wheel well. I used rivets to hold it back in place, need to touch them up with some paint so you can't see them.

No primer or clear coat. I wanted to use primer though instead of clear coat because the clear coat would have given it a shine. I used 220 grit sandpaper, just enough to rough up the surface for the paint to hold on to.
I used duplicolor low-gloss black engine enamel. Yeah I painted every part of the rim.
The red pinstripe isn't perfect, I'm not a professional. It was a _____ to use a flat piece of tape and made a circle around the rim with not much room for a pinstripe but I got good steady hands.
The lip is made out of ABS plastic, it was a dull black before but when I waxed it, it came out kinda glossy. I'll be painting that BSP to match the car soon though.

Yeah well it wasn't easy, hardest part was taping off the small little pinstripe section after I sprayed the black coats. I just put tape all around the tire, just make sure no rubber is showing and you won't get paint on the tires.
