and I agree with ya on the powder coat. thats why I haven't done it yet. I want to spend the money and get a good durable and quality finish. I suck at painting.

but everyone thats done it themselves it looks good.
thanks but I haven't done anything yet other than Microsoft paint I am trying to find out what is better Paint of Powder coat and which set everyone likes the best
Yes how much did you pay for powdercoating? I do it myself so my only cost is the powder... I do it as a hobby and can do peoples wheels, but I don't know if anyone would be interested, I have tried numerous times but no takers (my price would be something in the relm of $150 for a set of 4 stockers but if you find a source that will beat it I will match it)... if you need to see my work first no big deal, I have pictures of the work I have already done plus I will powdercoat mine within the next few weeks... gunmetal ftw!

I hope I can find a paint that will match the powder I am using so I can paint the centercaps to have a complete look (duplicolor's gunmetal maybe?!?).

here's a sample of the powder I am going to use....

can someone that has painted their wheels gunmetal show me a close-up of their wheel so I can compare the color... also has anyone thought of masking off the scion logo in the center cap and sanding/painting around it... hmmmm

yeah and I bet shipping would be pricey to ship here to Missouri...

Again if anyone has closeups of their painted gunmetal job please post, I would like to see how it compares to the powdercoat color I have chosen...

how do people have pics of all 4 of the wheels off the car to be painted, jackstands? I was just thinking that doing each individually would take a long time.

Just get new rims if you are not painting them yourself.
