It was done to clear the brakes. The things that are done on some hellaflush cars are far worse than cutting chunks of the rim out.

yes i agree some people go overboard, but people have been going overboard with everything dealing with cars since the invention of the wheel!

its all a matter of preference, but cutting chunks of the rim off to fit brakes is far worse then anything "hellaflush" ive seen

 

i duno jon.. id rather cut a little bit of a fender or roll it or loose some plastic fender guards then ever ever ever cut chunks off a wheel to make it fit... that person should just go out and buy a brakeless prius and go racing on the freeway

tire companies and shops must love the hellaflush trend. it means increased tire sales as people intentionally F up their tires LOL.

I like hellaflush, but some people take it too far.
