Meh, his Gram Lights are not High-end/custom/expensive. Granted Gram Lights are quality rims but in this situation where the title clearly states the options, his rims don't belong here. The specs are almost identical to stock and if you think they belong here, then maybe you should petition for the title to be changed to something more appropriate like Quality Rims.

On a side note. I think his rims would look better with spacers and shorter lugs.

None of the links even work, since it wasn't updated after the forum change. The links just take you back to the first page.

So, since I gave my wheels a thorough cleaning with that Sonax stuff, I've only needed to give them a light rinse/wipe down to keep them spotless.

This isn't the aggressive wheel thread. Who gives a ____ what size his wheels are.

When it comes down to the price of rims, I would assume size matters. You pay more for better specs, they make his Gram Lights in better specs. He has the standard spec that Tire Rack was selling for less then 350 new and 150 when discontinued. I would be all for his rim if they were in a better spec.

And I assume we no longer are going with the 400+ per rim rule?

So I can't care because I don't have aftermarket rims? Right, then I guess you should be limited to only the tC threads because you don't have a xb, xd, xa and so on

wtf, all I initially said was they don't belong here and you asked me why. Defended my point and now your complaining. Don't ask me then.

take a serious look at this thread.
99% of the rims posted here are not $400+ per wheel.
only a couple people in this thread actually forked out the cash to have wheels MADE.
the rest of us bought them USED, prob getting them cheaper WITH tires than those who bough just rims brand new paid.

just because something isnt expensive doesnt mean it doesnt belong here.
theyre high end wheels, maybe theyre not custom or expensive but a wheel doesnt have to be all 3 to be here.

i know plenty of people who say they spent $2K on rims and tires...for rotas, tenzos, xxr's, etc. That doesnt make them eligible for this thread. Its not about how much they cost at the end of the day. Its about how the wheel is made and the quality.
