Work are up for sale $4500 no tires or lugs haha.
i support both reps and real wheels. "real" wheels just have a design that is memorable and the other companies just copied them to make reps. I support companies like Miro (BBS LM reps), Brock (Porsche Twists), and Rotiform (Porsche and Lambo style). Don't forget that real wheel companies copy off each other. For example, Work Meister and SSR Professor SP1 (which I used to own...did I own reps of the Meister?) It is all in how they are made. If the process to make them is done cheap then the wheel will be cheap (both in cost and make as we saw by the video) but what we don't need is another fake wheel bashing because of one video showing an unknown wheel brand and how unsafe their product is.
Replica wheels are sufficient for daily use. I had Rotas. They were ok for what they cost...heavy, but ok. And copying isn't the issue, especially if your copy is also forged (Miester vs. Professor). It's just neat to see a test that justifies the higher cost of original wheels.
NYNCTC, it's when people false claim their wheels and that's when things get out of control. There was thread a while ago which had that happen and made to 5 pages(not only because of the wheels, other things also), after cleaning up was back to 1 page.

Exactly...and even if they are fake...i doubt many people would purposely or accidently run into a cub sideways and somehow hit the face of the wheel as was shown in the video... however I do agree that fake wheels are for those who dont want to spend a fortune in some well made wheels when it wont matter in cases like daily driving only...fake or real, regular daily driving wont destroy it.

HOWEVER, ssr was founded i think 10-20 years before "work" was even heard of.
