whats the best way to tight this up
i dont wanna scratch them with a air gun lol

I would actually recommend against an impact gun and use a torque wrench...

pics of lugs.... rays doesnt make open ended lugs afaik,.... i've had both rays, short and long and they are all closed, me thinks you doesnt have rays bucko..... anyways just use a 1/2" rachet and if they are rays then you need a 19mm socket.

dave is correct. rays does not make open ended...


now to prevent scratches get a plastic bag like a supermarket plastic bag. slide the bag like a condom over the lugs using just 1 layer of the bag OR slide the bag inside the socket with your finger. then slide the socket with the bag inside over the lug nut. its like putting on a condom only in reverse.

then just twist the lug nut off. this will prevent your rays lug nuts or any lug nut from getting scratched. take the socket off. take the plastic bag off the lug nut. repeat and move onto next lug nut
