Questoin About Upgrading Tire Size and TPMS

so i would really like to get some new rims and tires preferabbly 18x8.5 or 9.5 but im wondering does that mean i have to get all new tpms? sorry for the noob question but im just not sure

Transfer the TPMS sensors from the old wheels to the new wheels.
