Default Smoked powder coat custom rims with red calipers on white TC

Hey guys! My name's Chris. Saw you're guys's post and decided to go ahead and paint my wheels, brake calipers, and front grille/scion logo. I painted the 17" alloys striped powder-coat gun metal, which meshes well with the lip of polished silver/gray. The calipers are now red, and the front grille is red with a gun metal scion logo. Next I will do my fog-light covers and rear symbols. I am blacking out my back lights...smoking them, if any of you know how to do it. And getting new halo or HID lights in the next couple weeks. I also just put in my K&N Filter that day which made a great difference along with my blue interior lighting kit. Well here are all the pics in steps of the car to help all of you trying to do this as well!

My old wheel with painted flat black scion cap on it.

My old brake caliper.

My dogs the night before our work-on-Scion day haha.

Painted black Scion cap, on my Peavey Triple XXX Amp lol.

My girlfriend cleaning off my wheels.

Now she's taping them up with me...

...so they end up looking like this, if you are following this design!

Then spraypaint even coats about 2 to 3 times and peel tape to look like this. Our paint was DupliColor High Performance Wheel Paint - Graphite. The cap paint was black high-temp DupliColor barbeque paint.

This is my front grille after we painted it red with the DupliColor Red Caliper paint that we used on the calipers, and painted the Scion logo with the sparkely wheels paint which was a great idea.

My car the next day.

New grille and logo painted on the car.

Another side picture, with my K&N Stickers lol, from purchasing my filter the day before.

New stripe painted wheel powdercoat graphite sparkles w/ factory gloss polish gray and flat black scion cap with chrome nut bolts plus the red caliper and rotor!

Me on my car being blinded by Arizona sunlight.

Anyway! Please respond to this and tell me what you think. Also...add my band @ www.myspace.com/dangersilent please! Thanks a lot!

Also let me know if you have any questions on the process itself!

Agree with the previous comments, wheels look nice but that grill is really messing everything up!

Wow, I hate to sound like a broken record, but I love the wheels but I'm not really feeling the grill. Maybe paint the grill to match the wheels. That gunmetal color might look really good.

I think the red Logo could look pretty good...My tC is Black Cherry Pearl and I have plans on painting my emblem to match my car. I think red would look good on your emblem with the Super White car.
