Default Squeaking Brakes!?!?!?

I have squeaky brakes and it bugs the **** out of me. I installed new drilled/slotted rotors along with TRD brake pads about 2 months ago, and they've started to squeak like crazy.

Does anyone know why brakes squeak? Also, how can I get rid of the squeaking noise? Would new brake pads work?

Any useful advise would be very much appreciated!

First thing, put some anti-squeal gel on the back of your brake pads. Second, make sure they are not defective along with you rotors (i'm hoping you didn't try to get drilled/slotted rotors resurfaced). Lastly and most importantly is the bed in procedure. Make sure you do it well and properly. Visit www.stoptech.com and you can find the info on there. VERY important, otherwise your pads wear unevenly and they squeal like crazy.

x2!

Since its been cold in the mornings here lately (34 degrees), mine squeak in the beginning. Once they warm up, they're fine. Hopefully, I will be installing my NEW Dimpled/Slotted rotors along with the Axxis Ultimate Brake Pads this week!

I noticed mine squeal like a pig sometimes too. I'm stock and haven't really listened to see if it's only when cold outside...gotta check.

My stock brakes squeal in the morning when braking in reverse, but that's the only time.

Grip Force F/R cross drilled and slotted rotors and EBC Green stuff brake pads here. Slight squeal in the morning and after long highway drives that they haven't been used, but 90% of the time it's due to cold weather. Only happens in the cold, never had it in the summer.
