How you do guys deal with a rough finish after painting and clearcoating?
My wheels are pretty rough to the touch at some spots and smooth as glass on other spots.

Here's how I did mine
Aircraft stripper > sand > wash > primer > sand > wash > 3 coats paint > 3 coats clear.

Yeah my painting skills probably suck.
I think I should have wet sanded between the paint and clear.
Should I wet sand the wheel using fine then to super fine sand paper?
Anyone have any advice on how to get the wheels smooth?

bad, just because it looks stupid.
the front is so much higher than the back

 

he jus neds to be lower an i think it will look good,but needs a darker shade of teal sure

 

jesus all i did was wash>sand>prep>paint>clear

 

i think the majority of it is the angle of the picture.

 

alot of springs are like that, tanabe is one of them. but it could also be the angle and the slope of the driveway.

 

Love that color, 09. The dark silver on the blue always looks good!

 

Just wondering what all you used, it looks like the clear laid really nice.

they are s techs and i am pretty disappointed about the "2.4" in the front

what paint did you use?

 

oh i used duplicolor graphite with duplicolor clear coat

either they were installed wrong or are defective because thats def. not right man.

i was on S-techs before i got my B&G's. take a look

 

A subtle Ford blue.

 

My s-techs looked the same exact way.

 

..wish someone would sell me some f'n stechs lol
