So i have been reading the wheel and tire forum and have to conclusion that the Kumho Ecsta Asx tire is good. My question now is i have 225/40/18 pirelli pzero nero tires, if i wanted 17" rims, what are my options for tire size? Can i stick with the 225 and increase the profile to 45, or d i have to get 215/45/17? im confused as to how you fit wheel w/ the tires. Also, if anyone is selling there scion tc stock rims, please contact me,, gracias!

 

If you're going back to OEM wheel size, 17x7, then yes, you could run a 225/45/17 instead of the OEM 215/45.
