ima bout to get new tires im not sure which size but i am lowered so im worried about it hitting my fender or sumthing

What ar eyou lowered with? OEM wheels?

 

you shouldn't rub at all if your offset is the same as the stock wheels. I run 225/40/18's with a 35 offset. No rubbing but it is close. The stock offset is 42 or something I think so I went further towards the fender and the wheel itself is an inch wider than the factory 17's.

 

Ya, you should be fine with most 17s unless you're running some crazy offset. OEM offset is +45... and my guess is you're on OEM wheels anyway.
