Default Tire Swap on S-techs

Ok I was driving down a local street and saw a set of 4 yok's for $75 with barely any wear on them, so I decided to jump on them before someone else did. I currently have the stock tires (215/45/17) sitting on S-techs. The new tires are 235/45/17. I was wondering if anyone was running the same set up and if they will fit without rubbing. It looks like it will be close but before I go through the trouble of mount/balance I figured I would ask...

your rim offset might go into play on this one and how wide your rims are? could roll your fenders also

True! While a 235 can be installed, it's not really safe, they're too wide for a 7" wheel.

235 is mad wide. I thought 225 on my 7 was wide.

If you upgrade to a 17x8 wheel with an offset of 40 or higher, you can put those 235 series tires on your ride.

Technically, it's a bit too wide (although lots of people do it), as 225 is optimal for a 7.5" wheel. 225 is fine on 7" wheels when using a 50 or greater aspect ratio.
