Default Wheel Quality

I was looking for a set of wheels and tires for my car, a tC obviously, and i came across these. I have never heard of the name and i "googled" it and i didn't turn up any results. I was wanting it in an 18" i was wondering also of any rubbing. Here the link to the wheels, http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

oh i was mainly wanting to know if anyone knew the name and or quality of the wheels

when it comes to wheels, you have to pay for quality. the wheels in the link you have posted are def not high quality.

it you are looking for quality you need to look at brands like

volk
work
weds
ssr
and so on...

if you're interested, you might want to look into these. they're made by TSW. they're probably not the highest quality wheel manufacturing out there, but at least most of us have heard or know of them.

http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_nogaro.php

based on there website, it looks like this wheel could have up to a 2 inch lip in 18x8 form. i think the wheel also comes with a +35 offset in 18x8, which should be perfect for the tC. based on http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_wheel...on&carModel=tC they run at about 215 a piece.

here's an example from their site.

Also check your local forum on here, get to know the locals,I know in the PNW alone we have started the barter system,we are doing installs and trading parts back and forth every month, good way to get some nice rims for cheap that someone else is bored with.

Also remember to spend a lot of time looking at photos of what others are buying and putting on,keep in mind what you want the car to do,track time, show car, little of both, daily driver.......you know.

For instance my wife and I only had a $700 budget to get rims, there was nothing used around,we waited for months and still nothing,so we got the Konigs, not the best rims, not the worst, but they have treated us good and still look new. When we get bored with them we can still sell them off and buy up a little,I really want a set of RPF1s from Enkie for the car next year, figure sell rims for $500 and there is close to half the cost of new rims.

We are poor folk so my dram rims are out of the question unless someone get s bored with their Advans locally......not gonna happen though.....lol

So yeah jsut research and read and you will see some great wheels that work on the car.......

The 18s almost weigh 26lbs?!!! (25.5lbs to be exact.)
Makes me a little scared to see how much the 17s weigh. If you're looking for decent rims without
spending the $$$, look at Enkei and 5Zigen wheels. Lightweight yet good quality on both.
