Default Wide body kit

I am thinking of going with the obsidian wide body kit. Only thing I am wondering about is, where can I get wheel extenders. How much will it run me?

Default Sorry, yeah

The wheel spacers...

How much am I looking at to get those put on? Also, if anyone knows, how "wide" of spacers will I need?

That should be the last thing you worry about if you're going wide body.

Budget about 6 to 8,000.00 for the kit, installation, and paint alone.

As far as rims, you'd need to buy new, wider rims. It would be crazy to put stock rims back on on coffee-can sized spacers.

Then thats fine if I need new wheels. No biggy.

I've gone from a unmodified G35 to this TC. And I figured I would at least pimp out the car for kicks =P

When it comes to body kits, I know "normal" kinds require less work then something like a wide body. So if anything, I do need a little guidence on this if possible.

Lets just pretend the wide body was perfect. It required no sanding, and was prepped and ready for paint.

WHen it comes to putting it on, will I need special bolts or anything to attach it to the body. Or will it just bolt on?

I'd go for new wheels. Get some nice wide ones with a big lip - large offset wheels like, 0 offset haha.

New wheels for sure.

As far as the kit, dont pretend it will be perfect because it will be far from it (body kits are notoriously terrible, body shops hate them) and yeah the front and rear bumpers "bolt" on ... but your forgetting about the front and rear fender flare extensions and various other things. If you want to do it right, those need to be molded... which is hard and expensive to do. If you want to do it "wrong" and "cheap" then you can use 3M tape... but that sort of defeats the purpose of a widebody kit as your not widening the body, just tacking **** onto it...

And if you some how screw or bolt on the fender flares then you are a moron.

So you are telling me that the fenders have to be molded to the frame of the car? Or am I just not catching on here? How are the fenders attached to the frame.

As for the wheels, I am looking at some 18s. Not too huge, but wide of course. I think I have some wheels picked out. but of course, I need to learn about this wide body and how its going to go before I go full blown into this mess of work =P

Correct me if Im wrong, but Im pretty sure you dont get all new fenders, just fender flares. infact I know for a FACT that the rear is just flares as you would have to replace the entire rear qaurterpanel, C piller, and roof edging panels. So the rears for sure will have to be molded to the body.

Also on the 18" wheels, good size, but realize to fill the body kit your going to need probably 9" wheels with a low offset around 30, and for those to function AT ALL your going to need to roll your stock fenders back, so the wheels can turn and well, over all just fit. Prepare to pay al arge some of money for the wheels, and the tires (probably 245s atleast) will not come cheap either.

Oh, I had my budget set at 300's tires. 245 isn't too bad.

I think I am understanding this. Basically its a piece that fits on fenders, then bondo them together (Not exactly that probably) but you get what I am saying.

Interesting how this all works out, and now I understand why the body work will be tedious at best.

I don't see why 19's would be required since I don't think that would really play a role in the widdening of the rim itself.

I am no wheel/tire expert, so excuse me if I am wrong about this >_<

The front bolts on, no molding, because you get a full fender (note the gap at the top of the fender allowing this. The back has to be molded on because there's no break in the body all the way to the roofline. Look at front and back on this tC:
