Default will the wheel hit the inside of the wheelwell?

ok so i am about to get a set of MRR GT1 wheels. 19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 in the rear. i tryed the rear ones on at the shop and i had a question. it looks like the face of the wheel will definately clear, but the back of the wheel and the body of the car have less than an inch of clearence so i am wondering if the back of the wheel will hit or rub with the inside of the wheelwell when i have alot of weight in the car. i dont know whether the wheel goes straight up when it takes a hard bump or if it will lean in twoard the body???

Thanks in advance

What are the offsets? I have that exact set up. J2 mesh rims though and i do not have that problem. My fender just rubs on my wheel when I have people in the car or on big bumps.

dont do that and you wont rub. most tC owners with low offset and/or wide wheels have turned their cars in 2 seaters.

also depends how low you are and what kind of suspension youre running. coilovers with adjustable dampening is the best for this situation.

Default similar question...

I'm thinking about putting 19" wheels on my tC with 225/40 tires and the TRD springs. Does anyone know whether this setup will fit? Does anyone have this setup? If u do, can u post some pics so i can see what it will look like?

Thanks a bunch!
